Contract type

Internal owner
The person at your company responsible for this contract.
Start date
When the contract became effective.
Renewal / end date
The next renewal date or contract expiry. The most important column.
Notice deadline
The last date you can cancel without triggering another term. Auto-calculated from notice period.
Notice period (days)
How many days notice you must give to cancel. Common values: 30, 60, 90.
Annual value
The yearly cost. Useful for spotting your highest-risk renewals first.
Auto-renews
Yes / No. If yes, this contract will roll over automatically unless you act.
Status
Active, Expiring soon, Expired, Cancelled. Update manually as you go.
Notes
Free text for anything else: negotiation notes, vendor contact, internal context.
